Napsa Stars coach Linos Makwaza has warned Green Buffaloes ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary stage second leg clash against El Masry on Tuesday.
Makwaza said Buffaloes must show more hunger in attack against the Egyptians for them to save their 2018 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Buffaloes warmed-up for Tuesday’s crucial encounter against the Egyptians with a 1-0 win and 1-1 draw in two friendly’s played on Saturday at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
The army side faces an uphill battle against the Egyptian Premier League team after losing 4-0 away in Port Said in their first leg match.
For the Buffaloes, they must score four goals without conceding and hope for a dramatic qualification via post-match penalties to the penultimate knockout round of the competition.
“It was a good test match against Buffaloes and I think we learnt one or two things,” Makwaza said to Lusaka Times.
“I think GBFC should up their game especially their frontline because the Egyptians will come with delaying tactics and they will play counter-attacking football.
“So they must be wary of that.”
