Bidvest Wits goalkeeper says their mission is to bag their first win of the 2017/18 Premier Soccer League season against Cape Town City this weekend.

The Clever Boys are yet to beat the Citizens this term in four meetings in all competitions and the Absa Premiership clash in the Mother City is set to be a thriller.

Benni McCarthy’s side claimed two wins in the MTN8 Cup, one in the league and their recent victory came in the Nedbank Cup last week.

However, with the reigning league champions having collected four wins, one loss and two draws in the league this year, City will have their work cut out.

“Yeah look, they are doing well against us and we have to find a way of getting our first win this season,” said keet.

“We will be meeting for the fifth time and we must just keep working hard as a team. We are doing well since the new year.

“We need the points and we have to remain positive about getting a win to ensure we keep moving up the log table.

“It is not going to be easy in Cape Town, but we will have to find a way to ensure we continue where we left off against Golden Arrows last weekend.”

The clever Boys will meet the Citizens at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, kick-off is at 18:00.
