Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie says he is happy with his first season at AC Milan.
The 21-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Atalanta at the start of the 2017/18 campaign and has contributed four goals from 24 Serie A appearances thus far.
Manager Gennaro Gattuso has expressed his delight with Kessie’s impact at the club, and the Elephants man is happy to have helped the club in their ambitions.
"I'm pretty good. I'm a bit tired, but I'm not tired because I have to grow up, exceed my limits and so always go forward,” said Kessie.
The youngster added that former Milan player Michael Essien is one of the players he admired when growing up.
"Idols? I really liked (Michael) Essien, a Ghanaian midfielder who also played for Milan."
