Cameroon striker Benjamin Moukandjo says he is not surprised by the interest shown in his international teammate Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who currently plays for French giants Olympique Marseille, is being linked with Premier League clubs Newcastle United, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace.
Moukandjo, who plays for Jiangsu Suning, told La Provence: "The key to his progress is the confidence of the coach and his teammates.
“He learns from Luiz Gustavo, while bringing a plus to the team. He has confidence in him, it shows in his way of playing, in his shots.
“He adds an extra level to what he knew how to do, he is now able to play offensively. Physically, he is a monster capable of repeating his efforts.
"People get excited over his physique without realising that technically he is above average. He still has a lot to show."
