Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly could line-up for Manchester United in their clash with Chelsea this weekend.
The Elephants centre-back didn’t start for United in their midweek UEFA Champions League draw at Sevilla, but was at least on the bench.
And given the shaky performance of Victor Lindelof in the heart of the backline, manager Jose Moruinho may well opt to field Bailly.
It would be fitting if the 23-year-old returned to the starting line-up against Chelsea, as his last start for United was in the 1-0 defeat to the Blues at Stamford Bridge back in November last year.
Bailly has been sidelined with an ankle injury for almost four months, but made his return last weekend when he appeared as a late substitute in the Red Devils’ FA Cup win at Huddersfield Town.
