Baroka FC will welcome Limpopo rivals Polokwane City for an Absa Premiership derby at Peter Mokaba Stadium on 24 February 2018, kick-off at 15h30 CAT.

Baroka have gone four league matches without a win after they were held 0-0 at home by Chippa United on February 17. They last won a game at home to AmaZulu on January 14.

Bakgaga have claimed just 14 points from 10 home matches this season, and their last two turns as hosts have produced a loss to Kaizer Chiefs and the above-mentioned draw with Chippa.

Polokwane played to a fourth successive draw - and extended their winless run to five matches - after being held 1-1 at home by Ajax Cape Town on February 4. The Limpopo side last won a league game in early January when they edged Mamelodi Sundowns 3-2 at home.

Rise and Shine have claimed 12 points from nine away matches this season, though their last three games on the road have resulted in a loss and two draws.

In head-to-head stats, Baroka and Polokwane have met in three league matches since the start of last season. All of their meetings have ended in draws, with the latest example a goalless stalemate at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium in August 2017.

Baroka’s line-up from their 0-0 draw with Chippa on February 17: Dlamini, Kgoetyane, Banda, Madubanya, Kgaswane, Mothupa, Nguzana (Ngalande 53’), Chawaphiwa (Sodi 89’), Mohwatseleng, Mdantsane, Motupa.

Polokwane’s line-up from their 1-1 draw with Ajax on February 4: Chigova, Tshela, Tshilo, Mbonani, Ravhuhali, Manaka (W. Maluleke 90’), Seabi, Miya, J. Maluleke, Musona, Chungwa (Sulumba 64’).
