Paa Kwesi Fabin has expressed his delight at being appointed the new head coach of Ghana Premier League team Asante Kotoko.

Fabin was appointed over the weekend and replaces Englishman Steve Pollack, who was fired last Friday following the team's elimination from the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.

The former Ghana U-17 coach returns to the Kumasi side eight years after he was sacked as manager, having also worked in the club’s development ranks.

“I am delighted to be here. I promise to work hard to improve the team and get it at the level that we all can be proud of,” the former Black Starlets coach stated, as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.

Fabin has also managed the likes of Berekum Arsenal, Heart of Lions, Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies in the GPL.
