Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar remains sidelined with injury and looks set to miss two crunch upcoming matches for Porto in the coming days.
The Indomitable Lions striker has not featured for the team in blue and white stripes since playing 73 minutes - and scoring - in a 3-1 win over Sporting Braga on February 3.
The 26-year-old has missed six matches since then and is likely to remain out of commission for two major clashes in the next five days.
Porto will first host Primeira Liga title rivals Sporting Lisbon on Friday night, followed by the return leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 clash against Liverpool, set for Tuesday night at Anfield.
Yet Aboubakar’s absence is just the tip of an injury-crisis iceberg for the Portuguese giants.
They are also set to miss midfielder Danilo - who like Aboubakar has also been sidelined for quite a while - as well as Brazilian full-back Alex Telles, Brazilian striker Tiqiuinho Soares, Mexican winger Jesus Corona and full-back Ricardo Pereira.
