Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has reveled in making his 50th appearance for the club, and could be set for a return to the starting XI on Monday night.
The 23-year-old brought up the milestone in United’s 2-1 home win over Chelsea last weekend.
The Ivorian came off the bench late int game to replace Alexis Sanchez and shore up the hosts’ midfield as they claimed a vital win over the Blues.
It was his first Premier League appearance in almost four months, having had to undergo surgery on a troublesome ankle late in 2017.
The former Espanyol player took to the social media to share his feelings on the feat.
“Great afternoon at Old Trafford,” Bailly wrote on Instagram. “A win and an appearance - my 50th as a Red Devil, this time back at home.”
Bailly will be hoping to make his first start since returning from injury when United travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace in their next league clash on Monday, March 5.
