Nigerian international Victor Moses has backed Chelsea to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
The Blues are in a ‘battle royale’ with Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur to claim three of the four UEFA Champions League berths for next season (with runaway leaders Manchester City set to claim the first).
Chelsea face another stern test of their resolve this evening when they play away to City at the Etihad Stadium - the second successive league game in Manchester after last week’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of United.
“Finishing in the top four is crucial,” Moses told Chelsea's official website ahead of the match.
“We’re a team that almost always finishes in the top four. We don’t want to finish fifth or sixth.
“We believe in the players we have got. We have got enough quality collectively and individually to do the business.
“It’s not going to be easy. It’s about hard work and determination from all of us.
“There is a mental strength here. Fifth is not good enough but we still believe in ourselves.”
