Galatasaray winger Sofiane Feghouli says the aim is to win the Turkish Super Lig championship following this past weekend’s 7-0 thrashing of Kardemir Karabukspor
The Algerian provided three assists in the match, helping Bafetimbi Gomis score a hat-trick against the basement dwellers.
The result sees Gala at the top of the Super Lig table on 50 points from 24 matches, leading second-placed Istanbul Basaksehir only on goal difference.
"We came here to win, regardless of the position of the opponent. We approached the game very seriously while respecting the opponent,” said the Fennec Foxes player after the match.
“We won and this is the most important. Each match is a final for us. We have only one goal, to win the championship.”
Feghouli has enjoyed his football far more in Turkey compared to his struggles while at West Ham United. This season has has register five goals and seven assists in 18 league appearances.
