Musa: Pillars aim to maintain unbeaten run in NPFL

Kano Pillars are looking to sustain the momentum to keep their unbeaten run in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as long as possible.

This is to the club's head coach Ibrahim Musa, who was speaking to the league's official website.

‘Sai Masu Gida’ have gone eight matches without a loss and occupy top spot on the league table with 20 points from 11 matches.

They recorded a 2-0 victory over Go Round in a league game which was played at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

“We have started well and today the tempo of this mentality is still burning like a flame," Musa said.

"We have all resolved to maintain the same pace until we find ourselves at the top of the league table with a comfortable lead.”

Ther four-time NPFL champions will take on Yobe Stars in their next league game on Sunday.

The encounter will be played at the Potiskum Stadium.
