The 2018 CAF Champions League’s First Round will kick off with four first-leg matches across the continent on Tuesday, March 6.

The action gets underway in Dar Es Salaam with a clash between Young Africans and Township Rollers, with the visiting Botswana side looking to keep up the form which saw them overcome Sudanese giants Al Merrikh in the previous round and claim their country’s Top 8 Cup this past weekend.

The early evening games feature Guinea’s Horoya AC hosting Senegal’s Generation Foot in Conakry for a West African derby, while Nigeria’s Plateau United face a tough test in their trip to Sousse to face Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel.

The day’s matches will be completed with the late game between eight-time champions Al Ahly of Egypt and Gabon’s CF Mounana in Cairo.

The return leg matches will be played on the weekend of 16-18 March, with the aggregate winners advancing into the group stage.
