The 2018 CAF Confederation Cup’s First Round will kick off with six first-leg matches across the continent on Tuesday, March 6.

The action gets underway in Kinshasa and Pointe-Noire as DC Motema Pembe host Deportivo Niefang and CS La Mancha welcome Al Ahly Shandy respectively.

Last year’s Confed Cup runners-up, SuperSport United of South Africa, face a tricky match away to Angola’s Petro de Luanda, while fellow Southern Africans Nkana of Zambia are away to Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in the first of three evening games in North Africa.

The other two feature Moroccan sides RS Berkane and Raja Casablanca, as they host Tunisian giants Club African and Mauritanian upstarts Nouadhibou respectively.

The return leg matches will be played on the weekend of 16-18 March, with the aggregate winners advancing into the playoff round, where they are joined by the 16 losers from the first round of the CAF Champions League.
