AfricanFootball reviews the four 2018 CAF Champions League first round first-leg matches which took place on Tuesday.

Botswana giants Township Rollers recorded a 2-1 victory over Tanzanian club Young Africans at the National Stadium in Dar Es Salaam.

Étoile du Sabel of Tunisia brushed aside Nigerian side Plateau United 4-2 at the Stade Olympique de Sousse in Sousse.

Guinean outfit Horoya edged out Senegalese side Generation Foot 2-1 at the Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry.

Last’s year runners-up Al Ahly of Egypt thumped Gabonese club CF Mounana 4-0 at the Cairo International Stadium in Cairo.

The second-leg encounters will be played on the weekend of 16-18 March.

First round first-leg results:

Young Africans 1-2 Township Rollers

Étoile du Sahel 4-2 Plateau United

Horoya 2-1 Generation Foot

Al Ahly 4-0 Al Ahly
