AfricanFootball reviews the six 2018 CAF Confederation Cup first round first-leg matches which took place on Tuesday.
Last year’s runners-up, SuperSport United of South Africa drew 0-0 with Angolan side Petro de Luanda at the Estádio 11 de Novembro I’m Luanda.
DR Congo outfit DC Motema Pemba were held to a 1-1 draw by Deportivo Niefang of Equatorial Guinea at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa.
Congo-Brazzaville side CS La Mancha were thrashed Sudanese Club Al Ahly Shendi 3-0 at the Stade Municipal in Pointe-Noire.
CR Belouizdad of Algeria secured a 3-0 win over Zambia side Nkana at the Stade du 20-Août-1955 in Algiers.
Moroccan club RS Berkane stunned Tunisian giants Club Africain 3-1 at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in Berkane.
Lastly, Moroccan side Raja Casablanca were held to a 1-1 draw by Mauritanian outfit FC Nouadhibou at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca.
The second-leg encounters will be played on the weekend of 16-18 March.
