Liverpool teammate James Milner has praised his club teammate in Mohamed Salah, saying the Egyptian is the best player he has played with.
The veteran midfielder has applauded Salah for his ‘great season’ thus far with the Reds, classifying him as one of the best players in the league.
Salah continues to impress after he maintained his tremendous form to become the joint-top scorer in the English Premier League with Harry Kane on 24 goals.
“I’ve been lucky to play with some very good players throughout my career and he’s up there as well,” Milner said in the pre-Porto match press conference.
“I know he’s played in England before, but changing club and changing league again – there’s a big difference between England and Italy – setting down as fast as he has and hitting the ground running, scoring the goals and being as ruthless as he has.
“He’s a top player and that’s credit to the players around him but also the club for helping him settle as fast as possible.”
Meanwhile, Salah has donated medical equipment worth nearly £500,000 (EGP 12m) to a children’s cancer hospital back in his homeland.
The ex-AS Roma winger is known for his generosity and has given the cash to Egypt’s 57357 Hospital, with the money going to help those suffering with bone marrow cancer.
Just a few days ago, the 25-year-old also sent a new Liverpool shirt to super fan Mohamed Abdel-Karim who was initially pictured with a hand-made ‘SALAH 10’ jersey, with the name and number being scribbled on.
