Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League action could see the likes of Mehdi Benatia, Serge Aurier, Victor Wanyama and Serey Die representing the African continent.
The pick of the two games takes place at Wembley in London, where Tottenham Hotspur welcome Italian giants Juventus for the second leg of their last 16 tie.
The teams played to a thrilling 2-2 draw in the first game in Turin last month, and this return encounter is likely to see Mehdi Benatia and Serge Aurier feature for Juve and Spurs respectively.
The English side can also call on the physicality of Kenyan Victor Wanyama, and Juventus have the versatile Ghanaian Kwadwo Asamoah as a likely substitute.
The second match of the night takes place in Manchester and sees City welcome Basel to the Etihad Stadium. The Premier League leaders hold a 4-0 advantage from the first leg, meaning Ivorian midfielder Serey Die and his Swiss side will need a miracle to get back in the tie.
