The Egypt international was named English Premier League’s Player of the Month for February on Friday.
Salah was in electrifying form for Liverpool FC in February scoring four goals in three league games against Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and West Ham United.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp felt that the 25-year-old deserved the accolade.
“Deserved, obviously deserved so that’s all good,” Klopp told the media ahead of their clash with Manchester United on Friday.
“Congratulations, Mo. It’s down to his attitude, his character and the boys around him.
“There were not obvious difficult moments but there were difficult moments in all the games and the boys helped him through.”
Salah failed to score as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to United in a league game which was played at the Old Trafford on Saturday.
However, the left-footed winger is still joint top of the league’s scoring charts on 24 goals with Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Salah will look to add to his tally when Liverpool host Watford FC at the Anfield Stadium in a league game on Saturday.
