South Africa to name squad on Tuesday

The South African Football Association (SAFA) has confirmed that Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter will name his squad for an upcoming four-nations tournament tomorrow (Tuesday, March 13).

The event will be hosted by Zambia and also features Zimbabwe and Angola. It will run from March 18-27 in the upcoming international window.

Baxter will name his squad at 11h00 CAT at SAFA House in Johannesburg on March 13.

Bafana Bafana will use the tournament as part of their preparation for the resumption of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

South Africa will resume their Group E campaign with a home clash against Libya in early September.

They are currently sitting on three points, having won their opening match away to Nigeria in June last year.
