Egypt and Zamalek attacker Mahmoud ‘Kahraba’ has announced his ambitions of joining an European club after the 2018 FIFA World Cup for the upcoming season.

The midfielder is on loan at Al Ittihad and said he will return to the White Knights after his loan deal at the end of the current campaign.

Furthermore, he also apologised to Ittihad fans as they have failed to beat Al Ahly to the Egyptian Premier League title.

Although he said the crowd puts the team under great pressure to perform well, he remains unfazed by that kind of pressure as he experienced it at Zamalek.

“My contract is ongoing with Zamalek and I will return at the end of the current season,” he said to MBC Pro Sports.

“God willing, I think I will go to Europe after the World Cup.

“I apologise to the Ittihad fans, we have no luck in winning the league and we’ll try and win the cup”.

Kahraba has five goals next to his name in 24 matches this season for Ittihad, who sit in 10th place in the league standings.
