Tonight’s UEFA Champions League action sees Besiktas host Bayern Munich and Barcelona welcome Chelsea to the Camp Nou.
From an African perspective, Nigeria’s Victor Moses will hope to return to Chelsea’s starting XI, having sat out their 2-1 domestic win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Moses played the full 90 minutes of the first leg at Stamford Bridge last month which ended 1-1 after goals from Willian and Lionel Messi.
The Spanish giants certainly have the edge in the tie, but memories of the Blues’ famous 2-2 draw at Camp Nou en route to winning the 2012 Champions League will still linger in the memories of the Catalan faithful.
While the game in Spain – which kicks off at 21h45 CAT – will have plenty of tension about it, the early clash at 19h00 CAT in Istanbul sees Bayern Munich hold a 5-0 advantage from the first leg in Bavaria last month.
Goals from Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski (two each) and Kingsley Coman saw Bayern establish a massive lead which gives them one foot in the quarterfinals already.
