Young Africans not throwing in the towel against Rollers in Champions League

Ahead of their trip to Botswana to honour their CAF Champions League first round second leg, Young Africans have refused to throw in the towel.

Following a 2-1 loss to Township Rollers at home a week ago, YANGA’s assistant coach Shadrack Nsajigwa says they will turn around the deficit when they travel to Gaborone this weekend.

The return leg is set to be staged on Saturday and the Tanzanian giants are plotting ways to overturn the defeat they endured in Dar es Salaam.

Nsajigwa conceded the defeat, insisting that Township Rollers had played a great game and that they lost to a better team.

"It is only the first leg...we still have to face them in the return leg match and surely we will go there a much improved side,” he said.

"We were playing against a team we technically knew little about them, but now we have a clue on how they play and we will use the remaining few days to work out on mistakes we committed to turn around the score."

The return leg will be hosted on March 17 at the National Stadium in Gaborone and the winner will reach the tournament’s group stages.
