Vincent Aboubakar will return to international action in 10 days’ time when Cameroon take on Kuwait in a friendly clash.
The Indomitable Lions will take on the Asian side in Kuwait City on March 25, and Aboubakar was named in a 23-man squad by interim coach Alexandre Belinga.
The match is set to see several of Cameroon’s European-based stars return to the fold after skipping last year’s Africa Cup of Nations triumph.
The likes of Allan Nyom, Carlos Kameni, Eric Choupo-Moting, Jean-Armel Kana-Biyick and Andre Onana have made themselves available following a reconciliation meeting with the President of the Normalisation committee of the Cameroonian FA, Dieudonne Happi.
In addition, former France youth international Bahoken Stephane, who plays for French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, has been handed his maiden call-up.
Aboubakar will play for Porto on Saturday night when they host Boavista in a Primeira Liga clash, before heading out to join his national team.
