Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing Kwadwo Asamoah as a free agent ahead of next season.

The Ghanaian’s contract at Juventus runs out in the European summer, making him available on a free transfer for the 2018/19 campaign.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte brought the left-sided player to Juve in 2012 when he was still in charge of the ‘Old Lady’ and could reunite with the 29-year-old at Stamford Bridge.

Asamoah is seen as an alternative to Juve’s other left wingback Alex Sandro, who was close to a move to the Blues in mid-2017 but appears to have settled on committing to the Italian champions for the long term.

Napoli, Internazionale and Galatasaray have been linked with Asamoah in recent times, meaning Chelsea will face stiff competition for the player’s services.
