Ghanaian attacker Kevin-Prince Boateng believes Eintracht Frankfurt can qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
Frankfurt currently occupy the last Champions League berth on the Bundesliga log, as they are placed fourth with an impressive haul of 45 points from 27 matches.
They’ll have to hold off stiff competition for the final UCL place from Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig, but Boateng, who scored the opener in a 3-0 win over Mainz this past weekend, reckons the premier continental competition is within reach.
"If we work hard and play like we played today, I always say everything is possible, but we keep both feet on the ground," Boateng is quoted by the Bundesliga’s official website.
"We know exactly where we come from and we know exactly what it takes to be on the top or to achieve this [Champions League qualification].
“But we're happy, we're very positive and if we keep going like this at the end we'll see where we stand."
The former Black Stars forward has netted six goals in 26 Bundesliga appearances this season.
