Liverpool linked with Mohamed Salah’s compatriot Ramadan Sobhi

Liverpool are being linked with a move for Mohamed Salah’s compatriot, Stoke City winger Ramadan Sobhi.

The Egyptian international has scored two goals in 19 Premier League appearances for the Potters this season and has been one of the more positive aspects of an otherwise poor campaign.

The Reds already boast a wide array of attacking talent in the wide forward areas, including Salah himself and Senegal international Sadio Mane.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s all-action style of play requires squad depth to maintain intensity and Sobhi would serve as a fine understudy for either of the above-mentioned players.

TEAMtalk also reports that Sobhi’s signing would give further incentive for Salah to remain at Anfield, with the likes of Real Madrid said to be eyeing the prolific Pharaohs attacker.
