PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Naby Keita – He’s out of Guinea squad

Guinea and RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita has pulled out of the Syli National squad after sustaining a back injury.

The Liverpool-bound player will not join up with the Guinea national team as Leipzig reported the midfielder is suffering from a bruised spine.

Moreover, the club announced that midfield anchorman has also picked up a fever and will not link up with teammates during this FIFA break.

Guinea are set to face off against Mauritannia in a friendly on Saturday away, but the venue is yet to be announced.

Keita scored the equaliser and set up the winner for Timo Werner in Leipzig's 2-1 win over runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Sunday.

Following his stellar showing on Sunday, Keita has also been named German Bundesliga Man of the Matchday for week 27.
