Botswana Premier League (BPL) side Orapa United has officially parted ways with their assistant coach Daniel ‘Chicco Dance’ Nare.
The Motswana tactician was recently suspended by the Orapa-based outfit pending a disciplinary hearing.
This was after the Ostriches were defeated by Township Rollers 4-2 in the 2017/18 Mascom Top 8 Cup final at the Francistown Sports Complex.
Orapa have since announced the departure of the former Extension Gunners and Miscellaneous head coach:
“Orapa United has yesterday (Monday) had an agreement with its Assistant Coach Chico Dance Nare to part ways.”
“Nare has served only five months from his 2 year contract with The Ostriches,” a club statement.
Nare was appointed Orapa caretaker coach last November following the dismissal of Zimbabwean tactician Madinda Ndlovu.
The well-travelled trainer then served as the assistant coach following the arrival of Zimbabwean mentor Bongani Mafu midway through the current season.
Nare has been linked with another BPL club Security Systems.
