Egyptian Premier League giants Ismaily SC have given national team and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah an honorary club membership.
This follows the Pharaohs international attacker’s exploits in the English Premier League for the Reds in Europe.
After stunning the world with his performances, Ismaily have announced the decision to hand 25-year-old an honorary club membership, saying they are proud of his progress in the EPL.
“We are proud that you belong to us. Whoever loves this club knows the art of football well and so, we are honored to award you and your father an honorary membership to Ismaily Football Club. We wish you the best because you are the best,” reads a statement from the club.
Salah’s exploits have left half of Europe’s top teams chasing for his signature next summer after netting 36 goals in all competitions this season, he trails Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo by a goal.
The former AS Roma winger is a clear runner for the [PL Golden Boot award, four goals clear of Harry Kane with the Englishman out injured until April at minimum.
