The Egypt national team has received a huge boost with two of their players declared fit for the friendly against Greece.
The Pharaohs are in Europe as they prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and are fresh from a 2-1 loss against Portugal last Friday, but they will hope to beat the Greek team.
According to the team doctor, Mohamed Abou El-Ela, he has confirmed Hussein El-Shahat and Omar Gaber are fit for Tuesday’s game.
The duo missed their side’s 2-1 defeat to Portugal on Friday due to injuries, but it was confirmed that they will be fit to return to action.
“El-Shahat picked up a knock three days before joining the camp, while Gaber was injured for a while and missed Los Angeles’ pre-season due to that injury,” Abo El-Ela told ONSport.
“They have returned to full training on Saturday.”
El-Shahat will be hoping to make his international debut on Tuesday after receiving his first call-up following excellent performances with UAE’s Al Ain.
Meanwhile, Omar Gaber has 18 caps to his name, but his last international appearance came against Burkina Faso in the semi-finals of the 2017 AFCON.
