South African Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns are strongly linked with former Orlando Pirates midfielder Andile Jali, and are front runners for his signature.
The Bafana Bafana international is currently in the country nursing an injury and has announced his next move is joining a local club.
Currently contracted to Belgian side KV Oostende, his deal expiring at the end of the season, the Matatiele-born player has been linked with the Buccaneers, Kaizer Chiefs and the Brazilians.
Kick-off.com reports that the midfielder has already met Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane as they want to secure the deal as soon as possible.
"Pirates and Sundowns are interested. As it stands now Sundowns are pushing and want to close the deal as soon as possible,” said the source.
"Pirates cannot be ruled out but strong indications are that he will sign with Sundowns.”
The former University of Pretoria hard man is set to leave Oostende having made over 100 appearances for the club.
