The Gabon international reflected on the recent King’s Cup tournament which took place in Thailand.
The Panthers of Gabon were surprisingly beaten 4-2 on penalties by Thailand in a semi-final match which had ended in a 0-0 draw in Bangkok on Thursday.
However, Lemina and his compatriots made amends against United Arab Emirates (UAE) as they won 1-0 in the third-place play-off match in Bangkok on Sunday.
Lemina took to Twitter following their encounter with UAE:
“Happy to finish with a win. It's always about pride when representing your country,” he said.
“Back to the club to finish the season well,” the Southampton FC midfielder continued.
Lemina got a chance to meet Thailand’s exciting diminutive attacking midfielder Chanathip Songkrasin, who is simply known as Jay.
“Small by size, but has great talent mister #jaychanathip,” he added.
“It was a great trip in Thailand, thanks again for welcoming (us). I hope (to) see you soon.”
Lemina and his Southampton teammates will face West Ham United in an English Premier League match at the London Stadium on Saturday.
