Algerian defender Faouzi Ghoulam is again being linked with a move to the Premier League, according to fresh reports in the Italian media.
Corriere dello Sport claims that the Algerian is on the radar of Manchester United and Liverpool, and adds that the left-back is willing to leave Napoli at the end of the season despite signing a new contract earlier this year.
Both United and Liverpool are in the market for a reliable left-back – Luke Shaw has failed to win the trust of manager Jose Mourinho at the former, while Alberto Morena is in a similar situation at the latter.
Ghoulam’s contract with Napoli carries a €60m buyout clause and it is expected that one of the English giants will secure his services ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Ghoulam is currently sidelined with injury, having suffered a ligament tear in November last year and a fractured kneecap in February.
