Despite rumours suggesting that Egypt and West Bromwich Albion defender Ali Gabr is on his way out of the club, his agent has rubbished the claims.
Christian Emile spoke to Kingfut website, saying the player is focusing on winning his place in the team in the English Premier League.
This follows rumours circulating over the past few days about the player’s future, especially after Al Ahly’s honorary president Turki Al-Sheikh said he might sign a centre-back from the English Premier League.
The tweet left many thinking it was Gabr and Emile has since responded to downplay the claims regarding his player.
“Regarding the future of Ali Gabr, there is no news and I repeat that people should stop believing in any of these rumours,” Emile told KingFut.
“I repeat, Ali is focused on winning his place in the West Brom team and staying with them.
“That’s it, all the speculation about a return to Egypt or anywhere else is just nonsense. When there is something concrete to announce you will hear from me, no one else!”
