Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has chosen six African officials for the 2018 World Cup finals.

There will also be 10 assistant referees from the African continent including South Africa's Zakhele Siwela.

The referees and the assistants make up a total of 99 officials selected for the tournament which will be hosted by Russia.

The officials are expected to attend a two-week seminar at the Italian Football Association (FIGC)'s base in Coverciano next month.

Mehdi Abid Charef - Algeria
Malang Diedhiou - Senegal
Bakary Papa Gassama - The Gambia
Gehad Grisha - Egypt
Janny Sikazwe - Zambia
Bamlak Tessema Weyesa - Ethiopia
