Baroka extended their unbeaten run in the league to five matches by playing to a goalless draw away to Platinum Stars on April 4. The sequence of results has brought the Limpopo side seven points from a possible 15.

Bakgaga have claimed 18 points from 12 home matches this season, with their last game as hosts bringing a 2-0 win over Cape Town City in late February.

Sundowns extended their unbeaten run in the league to seven matches with a 2-0 home win over Chippa United on April 4. The sequence of results has brought the Tshwane side 15 points from a possible 21 and kept them on top of the standings.

The Brazilians have claimed 29 points from 12 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 3-1 win at AmaZulu in early March.

In head-to-head stats, Baroka and Sundowns have met in three league matches since the start of last season. The Brazilians have claimed two wins (with one game ending in a draw), including a 4-0 thrashing they handed Bakgaga in Tshwane back in early December last year.
