As they finalise their preparations for their UEFA Champions League Last 16 second leg clash against Manchester City, Mohamed Salah could be available for the Liverpool.

The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted that the Egyptian international could make his return for the Anfield side ahead of the clash on Tuesday.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Klopp expressed hope of being able to call upon the services of Salah, Andy Robertson and Alberto Moreno in the clash away at Etihad Satdium.

Liverpool head to the tie enjoying a 3-0 first leg lead after the attacker missed out on the English Premier League clash against Everton last Saturday.

“No real clue in the moment because we have to wait a little bit,” Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com.

“You can imagine, in this short period between games, it is quite difficult so I have to wait each minute I can and that’s what I’ll do. There’s nothing new in the moment, we will see.

“With Mo, Robbo and Alberto, we have to wait a little bit but of course [we have] big hope they will be back.

“Ben Woodburn is back after a long period and trained yesterday completely normal, which is really good for us.”
