Cameroon international Bassogog has extended his contract with Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye.
The forward, who joined Jianye from Danish side AaB in February 2017, has established himself as one of the top players in the Super League.
According to Cameroonian publication, Camfoot, Bassogog is now contracted to Henan until 2020.
"The Cameroonian international and 2017 African champion has found common ground with his club, Henan Jianye."
"And has agreed to sign at the bottom of a contractual document that will bind them until the end of the year, 2020."
"Bassogog, who recently confessed his desire to play in Europe, was surprised by the aggressive approach of his club, to extend it (contract)."
"The signing ceremony was held this Saturday, just hours before their meeting on the fourth day of the China Super league."
"The contractual terms, apart from the duration, have not been disclosed," a statement read on the site.
The 22-year-old has netted one goal in five league matches this season.
