PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Cedric Bakambu - DR Congo star rescues point for Guoan

The 27-year-old marksman was on the scoresheet as his side Beijing Guoan drew with Chongqing Dangdai Lifan F.C on Sunday.

Bakambu made his return to the team's starting line-up having missed their last three Chinese Super League games.

Lifan were leading 3-2 at the interval in an encounter which was played at the Chongqing Olympic Sports Center.

DR Congo international Bakambu then levelled matters to make it 3-3 for Guoan five minutes into the second-half.

Guoan then contained Lifan until the match ended in a 3-3 stalemate.

The draw left Guoan placed fourth on the league standings - two points behind second-placed Guangzhou Evergrande.

Bakambu has made three appearances in the Super League - netting twice in the process.
