Tuesday, April 17, will see four teams book their place in the group stage of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

From a Nigerian perspective, Plateau United will take a 2-1 advantage into a very challenging away game in Algiers against USMA and look to set the tone for their compatriot sides Akwa United, Enyimba and MFM, who will all be in action on Wednesday.

The Congolese derby sees CS La Mancha welcome AS Vita to Pointe Noire, with the visitors from the DRC leading 1-0 from the first leg, while another game in Algeria sees CR Belouizdad looking to come back from 1-0 down when they host Ivory Coast heavyweights ASEC Mimosas.

The day’s action will wrap up with Egypt’s Al Masry hosting Gabonese hopefuls CF Mounana in Port Said. The teams drew 1-1 in their first leg in Libreville 11 days ago.

The four aggregate winners will advance into the group stage, with the draw set for April 21 in Cairo, Egypt.
