Wydad Casablanca defender Amine El Attouchi is set to be the subject of a transfer bid from United Arab Emirates club Al Dhafra, according to Moroccan daily Al Massae.

The 26-year-old will be out of contract with the Casablanca club at the end of the season and Al Dhafra are hoping to tempt him to the Arabian Gulf League.

The Madinat Zayed-based club, which is currently placed ninth in the UAE top flight, will reportedly offer $1.5million over a three-year contract to El Attouchi.

The defender has been in negotiations with Wydad over a new deal, but the club rejected his request for a four-year contract with an annual signing bonus of 2.5million Dirhams.

Al Dhafra already have two Moroccan players on their books: Issam El Adoua and Adil Hermach.
