Asante Kotoko has given their full backing to coach Paa Kwesi Fabin after a stuttering start to the 2018 Ghana Premier League season.
Asante have had mixed results in the domestic championship thus far, with three wins, three losses and a draw from their opening seven games leaving them in mid table.
This had led to speculation that Fabin could soon be axed by the Porcupine Warriors, but communications director Obed Acheampong has dismissed this notion.
"The start of the league is not as important as the end, we are gradually picking up the pieces and it will not remain the same,” Acheampong told Oyerepa FM, as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.
“Management is not happy with the recent results, but sacking Paa Kwasi Fabin is nothing near, it's not now, we have no intentions of sacking him.
“We have much belief in coach Paa Kwesi Fabin."
Asante Kotoko are set to return to action on Wednesday afternoon when they host Berekum Chelsea in the eighth round of the GPL season.
