The Senegal international has been praised by his manager at English Premier League side Everton FC, Sam Allardyce.
Gueye played an instrumental role in helping the Toffees hold Swansea City to a 1-1 stalemate in a league game last weekend.
The player, who is set to represent Senegal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia, has established himself as one of the best players at the Liverpool-based club.
Gueye signed a fresh contract earlier this term to keep him at Goodison Park until at least June 2022.
“I love his attitude, the way he enjoys his football, the dedication,” Allardyce told the club’s official website.
“And focus with which he trains every day and always with a smile on his face.”
The 28-year-old, who joined the Toffees from Aston Villa prior to the 2016/17 campaign, has made 29 league appearances this season.
Gueye and his Everton team-mates will face Newcastle United in their next league game which is scheduled to be played at the Goodison Park on Monday.
