Nigeria international Victor Moses played an instrumental role in helping Chelsea FC overcome Burnley FC on Thursday night.
Moses, who has been used as a wing-back by Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, grabbed an assist and the winning goal as the Blues beat the Clarets 2-1 at the Turf Moor Stadium.
The 27-year-old was lauded by Italian tactician Conte following the English Premier League encounter.
“That was a fantastic performance from the Blues and a deserved three points,” Conte told Chelsea media after the game.
“Victor Moses, with an assist and the winning goal, was the star man, but everyone performed admirably against tough opposition.
“Back-to-back wins is the perfect preparation for Wembley on Sunday.”
The Blues will now take on Southampton FC in the 2017/18 FA Cup semi-final encounter at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Moses has made 25 appearances in the league for Chelsea this season - netting three times in the process.
