Ghanaian forward Albert Adomah has been named Aston Villa Players’ Player of the Year for the 2017/18 season.
The 30-year-old received his prize at Villa’s recent End of Season Awards, with his teammates recognising his immense contribution.
Adomah is the club’s leading scorer with 14 goals from 37 league appearances in the EFL Championship.
In fact, the Ghanaian is just five goals behind the division’s leading scorer, Lewis Grabban, who is a Villa teammate but scored 12 of his goals while on the books of Sunderland.
Adomah has played a major role in helping the Villains establish themselves in the playoff positions, as they look for a return to the Premier League.
They’ll wrap up the regular season with matches against Derby County and Milwall, before the playoffs begin in early May.
