In the wake of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage draw, Rayon Sports coach Ivan Minnaert says he is not expecting an easy ride.
The Rwandan giants are against Kenya’s Gor Mahia, Young Africans of Tanzania and Algeria’s USM Alger in Group D.
CAF unveiled the draw that was held in Cairo, Egypt last Saturday, with the coach saying the teams in his group are at a top level.
“Not easy but normal at this stage. I think three of the teams in group are more or less at the same level except for the Algerians,” the Belgian said to Soka25east.
“All will depend on details, the team that will draw and win away will go through.
“It’s two or three years ago and everything has changed ever since. All games are going to be tough.”
Rayon’s first match will be against Gor at home on May 5.
