Cameroon international Maxim Choupo-Moting is set to miss Stoke City's clash with Liverpool FC.
The two teams will lock horns in an English Premier League (EPL) match at the Anfield Stadium on Saturday.
Stoke manager Paul Lambert revealed that the forward won't be fit for encounter.
“There are one or two with bumps and bruises," Lambert said in a pre-match conference.
"Glen Johnson is struggling. Maxim Choupo-Moting won't be fit for Saturday."
The Potters find themselves in the relegation zone having accumulated 29 points from 35 games.
They are four points behind 17th-placed Swansea City, who have a game in hand.
Choupo-Moting has scored five goals in 30 league appearances for Stoke this season.
The 29-year-old joined the Potters from German side Schalke 04 last August.
