Ivory Coast international Yannick Zakri is confident of scoring against South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Zakri's club, Ajax Cape Town will take on Chiefs in their final Absa Premiership match of the season on the 12th of May 2018.
Ajax, who currently find themselves in the relegation zone, will take on Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria this Saturday.
“[Tashreeq] Morris is here, Fagrie [Lakay] is here – everyone can score,” Zakri tells KickOff.com.
“The biggest pressure is survival. The pressure for me is not on scoring goals – yes I am here to score, but if I can pass them ball for someone else to score, I will. It’s about the team first.
The 27-year-old is on a season-long deal from Sundowns and he is unsure if he will be returning to his parent club at the end of the season.
“We will survive, 100%. You will see. I don’t know… for now I’m focused on Ajax, and after, we’ll see," he added.
“It’s up to Sundowns. I’m not scared, and will fight for my place in that team. But for now my focus is Ajax, and to fight to keep us in the league.”
“I know I will score against Kaizer Chiefs."
Zakri has impressively scored four goals in eight league matches for Ajax since joining the Cape Town side last January.
