Ahead of their first CAF Champions League group stage clash against Kampala Capital City Authority of Uganda, Township Rollers skipper Maano Ditshupo says he is ready.

The Popa captain has emphasised the importance of the clash, saying they will focus on their BTC Premiership league assignments after this encounter.

Under the guidance of coach Nikola Kavazovic, Rollers are set to make their maiden appearance in the group stages of the lucrative continental club tournament.

"For now our focus is on our CAF match. We will talk about the league after this game,” he told local media.

"The past two league matches helped us realise our weaknesses. The good thing is all our players are now eligible to play, and we are all excited. We will show our capabilities.”

Meanwhile, KCCA are already on their way to Gaborone to honour the clash and coach Mike Mutebi has announced a 17-member squad.

The match will be staged at Gaborone National Stadium on Friday, May 04.
